Supplements explores the creative side projects that exist independently of our main pursuits, or help to enhance them. We want to have an open dialogue between ourselves and artists, creatives, and business owners about the nature of side projects, the challenges involved, and why we spend our free time working more, instead of sleeping in on the weekends.

Supplements is the project of Alfonso Ruiz and Chris Nordahl. Chris and Alfonso both work in advertising, and have taken on a considerable number of side projects (like this magazine). Chris is a musician, writer, illustrator, and graphic designer. Alfonso is an artist, designer, director, and curator.
